B1Chair and new plastic colors

With the new B1Chair VS satisfies the highest standards of ergonomics, design and functionality. The chair, which is particularly suitable for use in education and conference environments, is resplendent in modern colors and thus revolutionises the range of plastic colors from VS: even classics such as the Hokki dynamic stool and the LuPo chairs are available as of now in the new colors.

For over 110 years VS has been an innovative manufacturer of school and office furniture. With the new B1Chair a masterpiece once again leaves the production halls in Tauberbischofsheim. Together with the American architect and designer Peter Brown VS has succeeded in designing a chair that sets new standards when it comes to dynamic sitting and freedom of movement.

What is special about the B1Chair is that it has been designed according to a double cantilever principle. Seat surface and backrest are flexible independently of each other. In this way, every urge to move is directly accommodated. The B1Chair really encourages the user to change their posture regularly and healthily without compromising sitting comfort.

The seat and backrest elements of the B1Chair are made from fully recyclable, structured polypropylene. The double-walled finish produces an agreeable air-cushion effect. The material, thanks to its durability and long service life, is ideal for daily use. The elegant and lightweight frame is made of bent and welded, or alternatively powder-coated or chrome-plated round steel tubing.

VS has put together a new assortment of plastic colors specifically for the B1Chair. This assortment consists of both already established and new color shades. The Hokki dynamic stool, the Compass-LuPo and the Panton chairs with LuPo shells are available as of now only in these colors.
